Kate Read

Kate Read joined the Virginia Quilt Museum in 2022. With a passion for art and material culture, she obtained her BA in Anthropology from the College of Wooster. She has worked in digital archives, various curatorial roles, as well as a several different non-profits. Kate is excited to expand her background in collections management and archives as she works to preserve the history of quilting and create engaging exhibitions.
