A former costume designer in the theater world, Holly Cole transitioned to art quilting in 2016 and now works full-time as a studio artist in Triangle, Virginia. Through her use of layered textures, intricate stitching, and mixed-media techniques, Cole explores the emotional lives of animals and their deep connections to humans. The exhibition addresses urgent threats like climate change, habitat loss, and the illegal wildlife trade, while also highlighting the efforts of conservationists and everyday heroes.
