From cherry red to merlot and everything in between, we challenge you to make a red mini quilt. You can combine your red with any other color you like, but at least 50% of the quilt must be red fabric.

Thanks to the absolutely wonderful response to our Red Mini Quilt Challenge we will be displaying these quilts in three rounds. In the past, the most mini quilts we have received for a challenge has been around 40, so having received your 115 lovely quilts presents a space dilemma for us. We do not have the ability to display all the quilts at one time in the museum. In order to be sure that each quilt has a chance to shine, we will display the mini quilts in three groups.

The first group of quilts will be on display from September 30 through October 22 and will include quilts from makers whose last names begin with A through F. The second group of quilts will be on display from October 23 through November 19, and will include quilts from makers whose last names begin with G through M. The third group of quilts will be on display from November 20 through December 22, and will include quilts from makers whose last names begin with N through Z.
