2022 Mini Quilt Challenges

The Virginia Quilt Museum is happy to announce the 2022 schedule of their mini quilt challenges. Participants of any age and skill are invited to participate. Mini quilts are 15" x 15" and each quilt must have a sleeve on the back for hanging, sleeves must be 3" in diameter. Entries will be on display in the museum for the following dates:
Moments in Time - January 25 - April 16, 2022
Flora & Fauna - April 19 - July 9, 2022
Celebrate Summer - July 12 - October 1, 2022
Joyous Jubilations - October 4 - December 23, 2022
Flora & Fauna - April showers bring May flowers, and whole bunch of new furry friends! Are you a cat person or a dog person? How often do you stop to smell the roses? Whatever you wish to depict this challenge is sure to bring smiles to all. Please have your quilt to VQM by April 12 for this challenge. Contract here.
Celebrate Summer - What is your favorite way to celebrate the hottest months of the year? Whether you go to the beach or the mountains, or you'd rather stay home with a book, show us your perfect summer in a quilt. Please have your quilt to VQM by July 5 for this challenge. Contract here.
Joyous Jubilations - There are plenty of moments to enjoy during the final months of the year. Show everyone what bring you joy for our final challenge of 2022. Please have your quilts to VQM by September 27 for this challenge. Contract here.

Entries must be accompanied by a contract and entry fee for each challenge. Entry fee is $10 per quilt. You may pay your entry fee here.
