Do you have a quilt that you would like to know more about? Book a Quilt Evaluation with award winning quilter, and quilt historian Mea Clift! Mea will examine your quilt and share her years of knowledge with you, she may be able to tell you when it was made, what types of fabric were used, and more.
Each appointment is 20 minutes long and covers 1 quilt. All Quilt Evaluations will be at the Virginia Quilt Museum. The price of your Quilt Evaluation includes admission to all current exhibitions.
As a reminder these are just evaluations, as a nonprofit, we cannot do appraisals.
Once you have paid for your Quilt Evaluation a staff member will be in touch to confirm the specific time of your appointment.
To give everyone a chance to take part we are asking that you please book no more than 3 slots. Each slot is for 1 quilt.
Plan to spend the day at the Virginia Quilt Museum and explore the exhibitions at the museum and enjoy lunch at one of the many great restaurants in Dayton. VQM staff recommends the Dayton Tavern, Braithwaite Cafe, and Harvest Table.
