Do you have a quilt that you would like to know more about? Book a Quilt Evaluation with award winning quilter, teacher, author, and quilt historian Mary Kerr! Mary will examine your quilt and share her years of knowledge with you, she may be able to tell you when it was made, what types of fabric were used, and more.
Each appointment is 20 minutes long and covers 1 quilt. All Quilt Evaluations will be at the Virginia Quilt Museum in our conservation lab on the first floor. The price of your Quilt Evaluation includes admission to all current exhibitions.
As a reminder these are just evaluations, as a nonprofit, we cannot do appraisals.
Once you have paid for your Quilt Evaluation a staff member will be in touch to confirm the specific time of your appointment.
To give everyone a chance to take part we are asking that you please book no more than 3 slots. Each slot is for 1 quilt.
