Part of the Virginia Quilt Museum's project Stitching Together History: 250 Quilts Commemorating the Commonwealth of Virginia this webinar will focus on the topic, Virginia Experiments.
Brought to you by Virginia Tech's Patent and Trademark Resource Center, this webinar will cover patents throughout Virginia's history. Come get ideas for your quilt or just to learn about Virginia Innovation from when patents were first issued through the modern day! There will be something for everyone - from classic inventions related to Virginia's industries (i.e. cotton) to the diverse inventions (and inventors) that our state continues to produce. The webinar will also include how to search for patents yourself if you have a great-great family member who was an inventor or just have a topic you are passionate about. All are welcome to come, learn and get inspired for the 250th celebration!
