Second Saturdays: Join VQM Executive Director, Alicia Thomas for a look at some of her favorite quilts in the museum’s collection. From an 1840s Framed Medallion to Appalachian Folk Dance made in the 1990s, this presentation will have a little bit of everything.

Second Saturdays is a new series focused on sharing the Virginia Quilt Museum’s collection with quilt lovers in a virtual setting. Each Second Saturday will cover a different topic and include a 30 minute presentation highlighting 4-5 quilts followed by time for questions. Second Saturdays presentations will be given by VQM Executive Director, Alicia Thomas, and VQM Curator, Kate Read.
