Donate Your Time
At the Virginia Quilt Museum, we
love our volunteers. Volunteers are always needed to
support the Museum's mission of celebrating and nurturing Virginia's quilting heritage. Volunteers play a vital role in greeting our visitors by collecting admission fees, working in the Museum Shop, assisting with special events, guiding tours, leading
children’s activities, presenting at different organizations, and helping with the collection and exhibits. We need everyone's talents. Contact the museum if you have time to spare.
Opportunity Quilt – Shenandoah Spring
We are thrilled and very thankful that the wonderful ladies of the Stitching Quilt Group of Mount Jackson, Virginia generously donated their fabric, time, and talents to produce our 2014 opportunity quilt. This vibrant and stunning quilt is absolutely beautiful and would make a wonderful addition to anyone's home!
A heartfelt thank you goes out to Pat Albaugh, Mary Carlton, Carol Cunius, Mary Daigle, Josephine Millett, Dottie Pritchard, and Carol Rogers. We are so happy to count these amazing ladies as our volunteers, supporters, and friends.
The inspiration for “Shenandoah Spring” comes from Erin Russek’s pattern “Miss Kyra” published in McCall’s Quilting (July/August 2013).

Donate: In Memory or In Honor of Someone Special
Do you know someone who has impacted your life and had a love of quilting? Honor them with
a special donation in their name. The Museum will track all donations made in a specific person’s name within a calendar year and when the donations reach $1,856 that person will be added to our 1856 Society and will be remembered forever. Their name will be added to our beautiful plaque that is always on display at the Virginia Quilt Museum. In addition, they will be honored in our quarterly newsletter and on our website.

At the Museum we are very excited to tell you about some programs where you can get your online shopping done and support the Museum at no cost to you!
If you start your online shopping experience at www.ShopForMuseums.com or smile.amazon.com, then you can choose for the Virginia Quilt Museum to be the recipient of a portion of your purchase price.
