We are delighted to have the support of the Cabin Branch Quilters! These fine quilters made "Civil War Tribute" a block of the month pattern by Homestead Hearth in 2011 as a raffle quilt to support The Arc of Prince William/INSIGHT. The quilt was then donated back to them and they have given it to the Virginia Quilt Museum. What a perfect piece to support the Virginia Quilt Museum's 20th anniversary and the final year of the Civil War sesquicentennial.
This gorgegous quilt was machine pieced by the Cabin Branch Quilters and custom longarm quilted by Ginger Cook. A beautiful addition to any home! This is a king size quilt measuring 98" x 100".
Tickets are only $1.00 each and may be purchased at the Virginia Quilt Museum, online, at select quilt shows, or from VQM Members. To get your tickets now, please click the button below.
We are delighted to announce that Barbara Umling of Keyser, West Virginia is the winner of "Shenandoah Spring". Congratulations! We hope you enjoy this stunning quilt.
Thank you, Pat Albaugh, Mary Carlton, Carol Cunius, Mary Daigle, Josephine Millett, Dottie Pritchard, and Carol Rogers for creating this beautiful work of art. The inspiration for “Shenandoah Spring” comes from Erin Russek’s pattern “Miss Kyra” published in McCall’s Quilting (July/August 2013).
And the winner is, Jo Ann Emmons of Virginia Beach, Virginia. Congratulations, Jo Ann!
We are very thankful for the talents and generosity of Janet Saulsbury, Marie Farrell, Debbie Boyer, and Phyllis and John Kattwinkel. This terrific group donated their time, supplies, talent, and creativity to bring Wheels On Fire to life. What a great way to commemorate the Harley Owners Group Rally in Harrisonburg.
We are delighted to announce that the winning ticket was sold to Barbara Carper of Henrico, Virginia. Congratulations!
We are very grateful to Josephine Millett for making this beautiful reproduction of the Chintz Medallion, the oldest quilt in the Museum's permanent collection.
Thank you for your support!
