Opportunity Quilts

Our opportunity quilts are an annual fundraiser. We auction of a quilt made by one of our partnered guilds to raise money for the museum. Raffle tickets can be purchased below or at the museum.

The 2018 opportunity quilt, entitled "English Flower Garden," was made by The Tuesday Morning Chapter of the Charlottesville Area Quilters Guild. 

Dimensions: 94” x 94”



This quilt was inspired by the Lorna Doone quilt made by Corienne Kramer. The pattern was published in Kaffe Fassett's Quilt Grandeur.

Located in the main floor gallery, our In-House Quilt Board features handmade small quilts, quilted bags, and more. See a quilt you like for a price you like, and take home your special purchase on the day of your visit! 100% of the proceeds from this special display support the Virginia Quilt Museum.

Online Auction

The 2019 online auction Sew Much Talent 2019 will run from Monday, October 14, 2019, to Sunday, October 24, 2019. The items in the online auction comes from artists from all over the country.
