Exhibits at the Museum
The Virginia Quilt Museum showcases a variety of exhibits throughout the year. Exhibitions of both traditional and contemporary quilts are changed quarterly. Our normal exhibition season is February through December.

Second Floor: Remembering Anna: the Quilts of Anna Holland curated by Hazel Carter
Ground Floor: Kathie Ratcliffe's 19th Century Miniaturized inspired by 19th Century quilts, Kathie meticuluously recreates these historic beauties and elegantly frames their tiny forms
Ground Floor: Tavern Quilters Guild of Heathesville a tribute exhibit to the quilt guild started by Anna Holland and the quilters that are keeping it going strong

Stitching It All Together - the Threads that Unite Us curated by Wilma Gerald, this amazing and vibrant exhibit shows off the talents of a wide range of quilt artists from the Tidewater Region of Virginia. Visit the museum to be inspired!

First Floor: Here, There...Design is Everywhere! Anne Oliver's Quilts curated by Paula Golden, this beautiful retrospective exhibit demonstrates Anne's ability to find gorgeous quilt designs in everyday surroundings. Join us as we pay tribute to this very talented quilter.
Second Floor: Fred Calland Designs: Not Another Like It on the Block curated by Hazel Carter, this exhibit showcases one of the great male quilters. Join us to the marriage of precision geometry and colors to create exceptional art.
