Quilts About Town 201

Quilts About Town 2018

Community Building Event

It all started in 2017 with the idea to connect the downtown community …

This is designed to be a fun, free event to help increase local business awareness and opportunities for residents to connect with Downtown.

How do you participate?!

1) Visit us at the Virginia Quilt Museum, located at 301 S. Main Street, Harrisonburg,VA 22801 and pick up a Quilts About Town brochure for each participant.

2) Make your way about town to the listed businesses that have kindly agreed to participate with us. Some locations are even giving away FREE COFFEE & TEA!

3) Read over the unique and fascinating history of these educational quilts. Upon exiting each business, please have the front desk or other staff member initial in the box that you participated.

4) When you complete all your visits, please return your brochure to the Quilt Museum’s gift shop where you will detach the portion of your brochure where you write your name, email and phone number.

*When you do this, the front desk person will then allow you into the Virginia Quilt Museum for FREE as a way of saying “thank you for participating.”

5) On October 31st 2018 we will pull names from the box and contact the lucky winners! You have the chance to win great prizes like a sewing gift basket, free admission to Explore More museum for you and your family (up to 4), $15 to the Heritage Bakery and more…
